The warm stone exterior, original timber detailing and wood-burning fireplace give it a character that new builds simply can’t replicate — yet inside, everything has been thoughtfully updated so you never have to compromise on the essentials.
The Cabin sleeps up to 6 guests across three king bedrooms, each fully refurbished and fitted with quality linen. Two of the three bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms — ideal for groups who value privacy. An additional bed can be added for a 7th person if required. All king beds can be converted to twin singles on request.
The open-plan living and dining area is the heart of the Cabin. A leather modular lounge — generously sized for the whole group — faces a 55-inch Netflix smart TV. The wood-burning fireplace is the feature that guests come back to mention most: there’s something about an open fire in the hinterland that makes every evening feel like an event. The long, rustic kitchen has everything you need, including a four-burner gas cooktop, double-door fridge, convection microwave and a Nespresso machine for your morning start.
Step outside through the French doors and onto the private covered timber deck — one of the real highlights of the Cabin. With a table setting for six and an outdoor gas barbecue, it’s built for long, unhurried meals with the Byron Hinterland’s green paddocks rolling away in every direction. On a clear evening you’ll have sunsets that justify the whole trip.
